Day 26 Derwent Bridge to Queenstown by bus!!

Awoke to rain but slept well. The forecast is for more rain and gusty head winds. So after having breakfast and packing away, said goodbye to Stephen and headed up to the picnic area. Luckily there was a break in the weather and my tent was dry when I packed it away. Then it started to rain again so called Tassielink to book on the bus to Queenstown. Stephen then showed up at the picnic area just as it started raining again. Told him I was going on the bus and he decided to see if he could get on it too. It departs at 2.55pm. So hung around till then it was pretty chilly and windy. We both got on the bus which turned into a roller coaster ride towards the end. The road was narrow, windy and wet. The driver in my opinion was going way too fast it was ridiculous. Stephen actually put on his seat belt. Well we arrived in one piece it was a relief to get off. Headed to the caravan park $10 a night. Popped to the shops to get tea. Tea, shower, bed. Sorted.
