Day 14 Maria Island

I had a lie in this morning didn't get up until 8.30. Today we are walking to Bishop and Clerk, which is suppose to have amazing views. First we went and paid for another night of camping. The fees here have been very reasonable. M&C have paid $13 a night and I have paid $7. Was going to take between 3.5 and 6 hours. Weather was great hot and sunny. Pretty different using leg muscles for walking and climbing instead of cycling. We made it to the top at around 1.45 it was hard work but well worth the effort. The walk back was a lot easier. Got up to 28c today, so when we got back went for a swim in the sea. Which was very cold! For tea we had spaghetti and pesto which was tasty. Then headed to the beach to watch the sunset which didn't really happen. On the way back we were lucky enough to see a Tasmanian devil. Wow it was so cute. It's been great to be on the island, so much to see and do here and nice that there are no cars or shops.
