Cairns prep and warm showers

Arrived in Cairns on a hot lunch time 28c.  My warm showers host Les picked me and all my luggage up from the airportmy. Short ride to his family's home. Good chat on the way. He and his family had spent time cycle touring in SE Asia. Spent the afternoon putting my bike back together. Then met Mandy and their 2 girls. Great family very welcoming and for me the perfect start to my trip. I became part of their family for my time there. Great advice about bike maintenance, nutrition and the ups and downs of cycle touring. So happy I got to meet them they truly were brilliant people.
