Day 7 Port Campbell

Wow woke up and ready to go at 6.30. Got to the car park in plenty of time and Lexa made a cup of coffee which we carried down to the apostles look out. It was nice to just sit and watch the waves coming in, chat a little with not too many people around. The weather wasn't sunny so no sunrise but still nice to be there. Got back to the camping and made breakfast, Lexa offered me a fried egg and cheese sandwich which was delicious. As time slipped away decided to have a rest day. Sometimes you meet someone you enjoy spending time with and you want to hang out with them a bit more. So spent the day with Lexa drove out to Timboon then back to the ocean road to look at the grotto and London Bridge. Cooked tea and chatted till time to sleep. A really good day with great company.

  1. I learned quite a bot about cyclists and what they endure and miss on their journey. Hadn't thought about the little things - like cheese, which cyclists can't pack!

I have much more respect and admiration for the friendly cycling travellers on our roads.

    Cheers, Lexa :D
